This is the entrance to the Museum of Sculpture. Note the serpent's mouth through which you enter. This leads through a long, winding tunnel, like being inside a serpent. As mentioned, some of the original sculptures are now housed in here to protect them from the environment; others in here are replicas or reproductions.
