View (1) coming down companionway.  Out of view are head and shower on right, and aft stateroom on left.  The interior is done in beautiful light cherry wood - oiled, not varnished.  The floor is teak and poplar.  The craftsmanship is unsurpassed.  Valiant builds everything by hand for each specific boat.  Nothing is prefabbed.  The inside is light airy, with a total of 19 hatches and portlights, all which open.  The port settee pulls out into a double berth.  The galley (2) is on the port side.  Includes microwave, propane oven/stove/broiler, both 110-volt and 12-volt powered refrigeration/freezer.  The 12-volt system will be used when we're away from the boat for any length of time, using the wind generator and solar panels to top off the batteries.  Counter top is Corian.  The essential wine glass rack (made to fit specific glasses) is conveniently located above sink.  Navigation station (3) located on starboard side.  It is fully equipped with VHF / SSB / HAM radios, radar with chart plotter, C.A.R.D. (Collision Avoidance Radar Detection system), B&G sailing instruments (with 2 repeaters top side), a black box forward looking sonar, and GPS and modem interface for the PC (not shown).  V-berth (4), wider than a king bed at the widest part, is located forward.  It is actually a few inches wider than a king bed at the widest part.  Steve's mom made all the gorgeous quilts for the boat that coordinate beautifully with everything.  Not shown:  A door for access into the engine "room" is located over toilet.  The companion way stairs come off completely for very easy additional access to the engine.
